It’s yet another glaring example of the complete disrespect of the farmers worth in the big picture

Can someone please tell me why in 2020 a farmer can't have his money as soon as the grade and dockage is done and the weight figured out....
Why do farm groups ignore these issues....
When I buy spray by the time the jug is being pierced ....the retail has been paid....and my sprayer is across the road....Last edited by bucket; Nov 3, 2020, 19:39.

I know a guy who got his money when ILTA hit the wall.
I don't know what happens when these Cos go into receivership protection. Did ILTA quit doing business when they knew their bond was maxed out? Was Naber Specialty Grains a different story.....not enough bond or equity in infrastructure to cover A/P to growers?
Not getting paid can mean the difference between profit and loss, or yet worse losing the farm.
Can't imagine it's a bed of roses for grain dealers dealing with certain countries either.
Some Merchant buyers are probably very trustworthy, some scheisters may not be worth the lead to eliminate them.

This may be different because of a sudden death
Regardless, it’s a pucked system when farmers are at the bottom it the totem pole to get paid . Sickening actually
