How come they need so much equalization then?

The per capita income in Sask and AB is $25k more than Ontario. Even with the currency exchange, our per capita income is on par with the US. The rest of canada isnt pulling its weight. In fact lots of it is dead weight.

What wealth is produced in ontario these days? It is just a big government town with a side of the parasitical banking industry which in canuckistan is just a branch of the federal government in reality. I guess here in Alberta we have the ATB which is really the province as well. Don't say the auto industry as it relies heavily on subsidies these days and there is not much left of it in ontario any more. Electric car subsidies to Ford recently ring a bell? Bulk of real wealth production is by far done in western Canada.

Two things come to mind..... isn’t it possible to register to vote when you go to vote? I vaguely think you can do that here. In which case projected could be including people they expect to register on arrival to vote. Unless by registered theyre just meaning adults old enough to vote that are known to live in those states, in which case why couldn’t there be more than known? I know people here who don’t like giving census info so where the government thinks they are can be totally different to where they are. And if Canadians are paranoid, then there’s Americans that are similarly paranoid.

Second is out of state voters. Registered to vote in Nevada but currently in Oklahoma, does the vote count as done in Oklahoma? If that makes sense. Would need to see an entire country profile in that case as some states may be over 100% but some may be much lower.

Gotta love a country that lets every one of its 50 states set its own voting rules for a federal election!

Then to top it off many states let the ruling party carve up the electoral districts and counties to favour themselves and federal counterparts with creative gerrymandering.

At least in Canada we have independent non partisan bodies to make sure partisans don't get to gerrymander. And we cap campaign spending.

If there are extra voters who is to say that it isn’t xtra turnip voters that are not supposed to be.
The polls all had Biden with almost 10 point lead maybe there were right including fox polls etc.
Where did rhe turnip increase come from is the question nothing supports an increase to trunp numbers. Including last election. Maybe Biden ought to be suing.

Such an uneducated response . It's a plain and simple demographic in the US, and is the same reason polls are not accurate. Even made the national news. What does that have to do with hating Cdn farmers?

It's your choice to be like Jazz and strengthen that stereotype however. Good policy is about being realistic. Canada is very different with education/religion being fairly consistent across the country and doesn't seem to be a factor anywhere near as much as the US.
