Damn close to blizzard criteria here.. ~5" of complete slop yesterday. Water was pooling in the yard. Typically takes 6/10ths or so to do that. Another 5+"(who knows. As little as 4, possibly as high as 10) still coming down, but very fine and wind whipping it around. Some 3' drifts in the yard...

How many days does it typically take? How many people on the crew (sorting, shearing, whatever else is involved)?

Snow most of yesterday afternoon and into the night. Now the wind is blowing it all into bush and yards and it’s starting to snow again. The pic is what came last night in a sheltered spot. Don’t think I would want to be on the highway tonight!

Tow trucks are very busy. Think the town even gave up pushing snow.

We are on the west side of the Cypress Hills, have about a foot of snow and more to come. There been a 40-60 km. wind with it since last night, drift starting to get big and saying we could get another 6" to a foot yet. Should be fun finding the cattle in the morning.
