Well a bit of a temperature correction, -10 with a strong northwest wind this morning. Here east of Red Deer we only ended up with a couple of inches of snow. Looks like the heavier accumulations are supposed to be east of Medicine Hat and up into Saskatchewan. Just wondering what everybody is seeing?!

Rather have them forecast 60cm and be prepared then have them not and get walloped with it.
I’m right on the edge, forecast has hovered between 5-10 cm all week. The rain has really messed stuff up though. Was down to Strathmore yesterday, rained the whole way pretty much. And not a drizzle, a solid rain. Once it started cooling off the highways slicked up and the rain turned to snow to stick to everything.
Doesn’t look like much snow out but there’s snowbanks to the top of the car so the howling wind all night definitely made a mess. Can only imagine what the roads are like. Even if we don’t get much snow, the wind is just being awful. Considering it was 20 above a few days ago, I’m not going to nitpick on cm, they let me know this system was coming.

Damn close to blizzard criteria here.. ~5" of complete slop yesterday. Water was pooling in the yard. Typically takes 6/10ths or so to do that. Another 5+"(who knows. As little as 4, possibly as high as 10) still coming down, but very fine and wind whipping it around. Some 3' drifts in the yard...
