How many days does it typically take? How many people on the crew (sorting, shearing, whatever else is involved)?

Snow most of yesterday afternoon and into the night. Now the wind is blowing it all into bush and yards and it’s starting to snow again. The pic is what came last night in a sheltered spot. Don’t think I would want to be on the highway tonight!

Tow trucks are very busy. Think the town even gave up pushing snow.

We are on the west side of the Cypress Hills, have about a foot of snow and more to come. There been a 40-60 km. wind with it since last night, drift starting to get big and saying we could get another 6" to a foot yet. Should be fun finding the cattle in the morning.

Hwy 9, and Hwy 41 are both closed here. Plow trucks threw up their hands and went home till the wind goes down. The sloppy shit that fell yesterday is making everything the wind blows down the road stick to it. Tractors plugged in to plow out, but it sounds like their's no rush as school's cancelled already for tomorrow so I can get at it tomorrow when it quits drifting in.

I can’t believe this but so far we’ve got diddly for once. still saying snow to come, but it appears we’re east of the storm. Thankful. So far.

                  Good deal.
We were supposed to get 6-10” but only got a couple in the end.

The ground is freezing up a bit which is nice for the grazing. The critters seem quite ok with it too which is nice.

                  No complaints here either.

Sun West School division cancelled all buses for tomorrow and said to keep kids home if possible.
Had some freezing rain and a couple inches of snow yesterday and overnight.
Windy and snowing all day today, no idea how much we have actually gotten now but there are good drifts in the yard and they are firm!!
Have grain going out this week if trucks can get here??

I'm sure were well over 2' going on to 3' now. Big drifts all over in the 4-5' range with the wind and snow still with us.

Saskatoon health workers are looking for anyone with snowmobiles to ferry workers to work. That’s got to be a first. Anybody available call RUH switchboard at 306 655 1000 and ask for Terry Nixey. My wife got that message off Facebook.

Guys with RZR's/Rangers with tracks should be calling them up and be blasting around the city all day on no worries of being chased by police!! LOL
There will be sleds running around for sure.

Roughly 2mm coating of ice on everything, no snow. When the sun comes out, she all melt away and, it'll look like fall again here. Not sad about that at all.
Forecast calling for +4'C on Friday & Saturday, and I think we'll hit those temps because we're not all white with snow. Good luck to all.

We had more snow here overnight but not the accumulations some of you are talking about.

According to radar, it looks like it's just about over.
