I don’t know. Maybe the same thing your herbicide resistance thread had to do with marketing. So get off your high horse.

Fertilizer bin with liquid valve on the bottom. Put a slide on it after ten years and use it for grain or granular. Sell at auction for 90% of paid dollars?

A guy in this community had one fail. Don't know why or what happened.

Are they engineered to bear that weight. What is the bulk density of wheat versus liquid fert.

I would think they would have to be engineered for that.

I don't think the bin collapsed but leaked a bunch out.. not sure if the valve failed or the seal.
Just don't call Environment Canada after the fact.

Stainless tank(s) is the way to go. They are priced similar or even less then poly. Having the ability to take advantage of early pricing/delivery discounts makes it at least the same price as AA or Urea.
I don't think resale is an issue. A few years ago I was looking for some more storage and followed a couple different SS tanks at auctions. They all went for close to new price. So we just bought new tanks.

Then why not use the crop production thread? Make the Topic work for you, keep the actual cropping discussions in the crop topic. Why are you so afraid to use more then one topic?

Too bad no one here is an administrator concerned about organization, the only concern is showing you ads.
