Operation Warp Speed is creating and will distribute vaccines to win against the CCP virus. (No word on TDS vaccines yet but it looks like there is a higher infection rate.)

The US bought 100 million doses of Pfizer's vaccine, if and when one is developed, and will use the US milatary to distribute it. The US does not pay anything to Pfizer until the vaccine is delivered. That is all they have contributed to Pfizer. Following is an excerpt from Pfizer newrelease:
....But Pfizer hasn't received any support from the US government beyond a US$1.95 billion agreement to buy an initial 100 million doses. No money is paid out until the vaccine is approved.
Pfizer's head of vaccine research and development Dr Kathrin Jansen told the New York Times that the team was "never part of the Warp Speed".
"We have never taken any money from the US government, or from anyone," she said....

Canada has also pre-purchased 20 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine, just like the US did. And since that amount would treat twice as many Canadians compared the the amount the US purchased for the US population, maybe it should be called the Trudeau vaccine rather that the Trump/Pense vaccine.

Pfizer has distanced itself from Mr. Trump and Operation Warp Speed. In an interview on Sunday, Kathrin Jansen, a senior vice president and the head of vaccine research and development at Pfizer, said, “We were never part of the Warp Speed,†adding, “we have never taken any money from the U.S. government, or from anyone.â€
On Monday, a spokeswoman for Pfizer clarified that the company is part of Operation Warp Speed as a supplier of a potential coronavirus vaccine.
Facts First: Pfizer's vaccine progress is certainly not solely attributable to the Trump administration's Operation Warp Speed public-private partnership program. But it was not accurate for Pfizer to suggest that it is operating entirely apart from Operation Warp Speed; the company has a major agreement to sell at least 100 million doses of its vaccine to the federal government, and Pfizer acknowledged in a Monday statement to CNN that it is in fact "participating" in Operation Warp Speed through this deal. Also, at least some independent experts say the Trump administration deserves partial credit for Pfizer's progress.
