Something is definitely up with canola, Bunge had a Dec 2021 special 12.00 canola this morning, that works out to be about a $0 Basis fob Nipawin. Cargill had some special this morning also, didn’t phone to find out. Clearly I think both carry over and production are overstated. USDA also had numbers for Soybeans come in lower than estimates.

Wheat on the other hand seems to still be on crutches, imho.
Hope it doesn't end up in a wheel chair or flat on its back in bed.

Devils advocate are you guys forced to sell and sign contracts?
Basically 6 days a week 10 hours a day here for contracts.
Or set and forget contracts here name your price contract done but you have to be dilligent in case you want to ammend your target price or pull out of contract all together.
You can have contract in place say 200t of wheat price not being met just ring buyer pull your offer. Non binding all target contracts here.

Mallee, is that contract an open contract that any buyer can pick up or is it specific to one buyer?
Say the grain is in one of the community storage facilities, if you sign a target contract can any buyer accept it?
Do price offers tend to weaken when the free storage period is ending?
