I mean, in farmer terms, if the salesman sold you a new fungicide that was supposed to work on leaf disease in wheat and a week after you apply it the disease takes over your crop. Salesman takes a look and says, "ya, well, if you hadn't put it on it would be twice as bad".
I'm sure we would all add that salesman to our christmas card list and prebook the same product for next year on the spot!
Maybe they are both right? Hard to say, but can anyone blame anyone else for being skeptical?
Dr. Roussin also was asked why there are so few influenza cases in Manitoba. His answer? "Well, it's because of all the precautions we are taking, that is limiting the spread". Then in his next breath he starts to accuse Manitobans of not following the precautions and spreading covid.
The politicians like Pallister and Roussin keep blaming "the people" for spreading it but the only examples in the news are PCH's and Stony Mountain Pen. Places that are either government run or managed.
I don't like masks but I wear them when I have to and avoid close contact. Everyone I know does the same. I still don't personally know anyone that has or has had covid. I know second hand of a few people that have had and recovered from it.
Now everything is shut down, even my kids hockey and figure skating, oh wait, but school is still no problem, off you go!
I think people are allowed to take issue with what's going on when you hear stuff like this.
