Gee... that sure makes younger farmers want to ask old guys questions.

Congratulations on helping teach the next generations.

OK so that was harsh...would it be better if spoon fed him as well...

It wouldn't bother me so much but there are guys running for saskpulse board that dont even know that the US has mandatory sales reporting and why they have it...ffs.

So it bothers you that people don’t know....

But it bothers you that they ask so that they can know?

In a country where the average age of farmers is 55, there are still a few of us that are a decade or two or three behind 1972. We do need somebody to teach us. Obviously not you... but somebody should.

I’m sorry if this is popping your bubble that we just sponge up knowledge via osmosis by hanging out next to old people.

One of the more entertaining pieces I have discovered that were written about the Russian grain deals.

Caution a long read. Written in '73.

Ha! wrong link, here is the one I meant to post:

And the US decided to implement mandatory sales reporting....Canada stuck its head in the sand and decades later we had an ostrich farmer for an ag minister....ironic isn't it.

Either bicket knows who red lentil is or he needs a Snickers.

Just seems like a curmudgeon. Not sure a Snickers will even help.
