Smashing out the boats I’d assume. They keep taking in grain so they must be loading it on something.

Real dumb question is this 20 wheat or 19 thats being shipped.

If you guys and many others are locking bins they must be sourcing it somewere.

Re my australian link said astralia cheap wheat at moment.

$285 on farm is a 8.5/10 price even 9 forcsome grades.

Aussie farmers are sellers the chance of extra $15 or so against a fallmof $15 or so know which camp im with.

We have come off about $12 things stabalized last week.

Ya never leave two in the bush whats in your hand that matters.

So vocal commentators here suggesting big moves either up or down ....... like i could be paid thousands of dollars for a ridiculous commentblike that. Ifvthis happens that will happen but on other hand blah blah.

              MALLEE,

              Hmmmm, $285 on farm, $7.75/ bu. 1AUD=0.95CAD. 7.75 x .95=$7.37

While we struggle to squeeze $7 out of our merchants. #1 - 13.5- 14.0 Px-ish

Talk of $7 next July..... seven to 8 months away! How's that the time value of money for you.

              Too far from tide water?

Feed mills here are paying $7 for feed wheat delivered in January. Dry and 58lbs+ is the only requirements. Much easier than haggling with the elevator over a grade disagreement.

Or a discount over a couple tenths of protien.
Why are the discounts per tenth twice as much as the premiums?

Pigs and feeder cattle make alot less fuss. Sad.

                      here you go redlentil.....

The Export Sales Reporting Program has its roots in the unexpected purchase of large amounts of grain by the Soviet Union in 1972.*Termed*“the Great Russian Grain Robbery,”*the huge, unanticipated purchases of U.S. wheat and corn that year depleted U.S. reserve stocks and caused a sizable run-up in U.S. food prices.*

Furthermore, there was growing concern that some companies might have an unfair advantage in situations like this because they had access to market-sensitive information that was unavailable to the public. To ensure that all parties involved in the production and export of U.S. grain had access to up-to-date export sales information, Congress mandated the Export Sales Reporting Program (ESR Program) in 1973.

Before the ESR Program was established, it was difficult for the public to obtain information on export sales until the products were actually shipped. The program helps facilitate price stability by guaranteeing that everyone has access to the same information at the same time.

The last paragraph explains what we have in Canada....now...

You can call me a boomer or an ass....but I had conversations with my MP back when the so called open market was being talked about....they chose not to implement the simplest part of an open market...

The USA has seen the need for it for some 48 years and counting and they have grain exchanges that help identify this as well...along with a government that doesnt ignore agriculture...

How long have politicians in Canada been studying the uselessness of the agristability program....

It took less than a year to implement sales reporting in the 70s and no president since has ignored farmers and the value to the economy....

disclaimer....I think this qualifies as marketing
