Pneumonia is a symptom. It means inflammation in the lungs. A variety of factors can cause inflammation. Pneumonia will be a symptom of cases of Covid as well. A lot will be viral pneumonia.

In many cases, especially with viruses, immune systems are weakened and allow for a secondary infection to take root. Because much of my pathology knowledge links back to livestock - an example of this is BVD in cattle. Weakens immune systems and one of the first things that will take advantage of this is a bacterial infection in the lungs. Ergo a bacterial pneumonia. In humans HIV is a well known example. You know it lowers the immune system, when it gets to the point that it becomes AIDS there are certain AIDS defining illnesses. Like Pneumocystis pneumonia, which is actually fungal, not bacterial.

During a pandemic, especially one involving a respiratory virus and lung damage, it would only be expected to see a rise in secondary, bacterial infections as well. This would occur with, or without, mask use.

Saying there’s been an increase in bacterial pneumonia is completely irrelevant without knowing how it relates to individuals who’ve had Covid and individuals who wear masks.

When you put the mask on your anti mask emotions boiled over into rage and you forgot to breathe, likely turned bright red, starved your brain and heart of oxygen. I hope you removed the mask soon enough that you dont have permanent brain damage.

Well you are wrong. Masks are working well, it just that they have nothing to do with your health. What they measure is compliance of the sheeple with communist diktat. They also contribute significantly to fear porn. They also identify those who will have to be shipped of to the gulags they are setting up. In a country where most of people's income is from one government scam or another, there is a lot of mask wearers. When the money printing stops, and government budgets get real, and people have to find real jobs again, the only mask wearing you will find will be in dusty grain bins.

Seriously with such a long incubations period how can you declare the day after the government puts on restrictions that masks or any other measure doesn't work. You have to wait for the infected people and the people they infected to finally show symptoms and that is if everyone follows the guidelines... If the guidelines are strict enough to begin with.

It isn't rocket science, if there is only 70 or 80% compliance you can't expect 100% results.

I don't know what the virus filter efficiency for a surgical mask is, 40-80% maybe depending on the individual, but unprotected eyes would also be a landing strip for viruses.
Masks give some people a feeling being bullet proof, which isn't the case at all.
