Need to hear more from others on here, to truly make a decision. Hoping it comes.

Well Freeland is a trustee of WEF, so the odds are good.

Forage does a $170 a tonne carbon tax by 2030 qualify as a great reset? Is a tax of 45.65 cents per litre of diesel and of $8.39 a gigajoule a big enough reset? I realize you don’t have a grain dryer but for those that do this will certainly be a kick in the teeth! Certainly bound to affect freight rates, what I pay has gone up by 18% in the last 3 years on grain, on cattle 25%.

That probably came off some greenies solar array. Just look at all the solar energy in the background at chilliwack.

Thats a sweet unit, how much canola oil will i need to run that unit every year ? - 25 c this morning ,had to turn up the pellet stove a notch. Its a lazy mans wood stove without the mess but maybe between the two units a guy could survive if the grid went down.

Battery backup of the critical loads (waterpump, furnace, fridge and freezers) can be recharged with solar and/or generator. Running a genset 24hr is an impractical solution.

Hoping it wouldn't be long term.
Better than freezing in the dark.
If it gets too schtoopit, winterize the place and drive south.
