40 million sounds bad enough, but how about: The federal government has spent an average of $952 million a day fighting the COVID-19*pandemic

Sure Jazz, you've done research on each and everyone of the 2000 companies balance sheets and determine that "primary GDP driven Industry got zero". And of coarse you know each and everyone of publicly trade companies that received government funds that haven't even filed as of yet.

When did you start working for the CBC and assisting Diana Swain in the "The Big Spend" story?

"CBC News has also uncovered new details about the extent of government support for some publicly traded companies. Using data shared with regulators in Canada and the United States, CBC News searched reports filed by more than 2,000 corporations, identifying 409 that have disclosed they received funds from at least one of Ottawa's emergency programs. (Many listed corporations have yet to file the financial reports that might show such government funding. And privately held firms have no obligation to disclose if they have received help from the government.)"

What part of zero is hard to understand forage?

here are some of canada primary gdp driven industries; Ag, Forestry, Oil, gas, Mining. Thats about 30% of our gdp right there.

Please show me any of the $400B spent going into any of those industries. Just one single announcement from our govt, auditor general, premiers, anyone?

        ZERO

I apologize, didn't realize that would come off as an obnoxious response. Maybe I should have responded that I come from Saskatchewan.

For forages enlightenment, Canada had a investment slush fund before covid. The infrastructure fund had a budget of $150B. Wonder if that shows up in our debt pile.

Anyway, you know what they are building with that money, at least the part that didnt go missing and into liberal pockets. Sustainable bike paths, flower gardens light rail for Toronto and bridges in Montreal.

Exactly ZERO of that fund went to enhancing our resource network, improving our competitiveness and building out more export capacity, rail, ports, highways,

              ZERO.

I don't know which of these two is the most revolting.

But the Bobblehead is clearly pissing off the Liberal Bootlicker.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that Rosie Rockface likes talking down to people rather than being on the receiving end of condescension?

The hate and disgust on her face was palpable. Just surprised that she let it show that much.

And yet, it was far better treatment than a bobblehead deserved.

There is no way there is a brain inside that bobble head, that was absolutely disgusting to watch knowing she is finance minister or even just an elected anything.

I was just waiting for the moths or butterflies to come out of her ears. We are so phucked with her in charge of the money and she has no clue but the sound of the sunshine and rainbows speech in her head. More grand ideas and spending with no way of knowing how to pay for it.
