Well the latest Climate report sure stirred up the perennial deniers with their usual anti science fodder. LOL

Did any of you read the report? If you have questions why not contact the scientists who researched and wrote it?

Chuck2 I pointed out with actual reality based government numbers(not predictions) that present and past government carbon tax policies are not reducing total emission output. So it appears you honestly believe we are going to experience severe changes to our weather due to fossil fuel consumption. As a grain and cattle farmer most things I do on a daily basis require the use of fossil fuels. Planting and harvesting a crop, staying warm in winter, feeding cattle. All a carbon tax does is add cost to everything I do, it doesn’t change what I do because if I want to continue farming there are no alternatives. Plus the added cost of the carbon tax means I have to produce more to keep making a living which in turn increases my personal carbon footprint. Environmentalists have been screaming as long as I have been alive that the sky was falling, the sky is still there and I am still farming. I am certainly glad their predictions of doom and gloom have been exaggerated!

"I am certainly glad their predictions of doom and gloom have been exaggerated!"

Hamloc The report is not all doom and gloom. Did you read it?

And anyway Agriville wouldn't exist without the repetitive over the top doom and gloom about Canada and farming in many posts. This is the doom and gloomers favorite subject, how bad Canada and farming are! It's so bad I don't know how many posters manage to get themselves out of bed everyday. LOL

Different news outlets are now talking about the reduction in emissions because of covid....

Maybe the world should take the time to slow down and smell the roses...

2.4billion tonne reduction in emissions in 2020....

So Trudeau will announce today a plan to spend money to reduce pollution...

reducing the fake money will reduce emissions...IMHO...dumbphuckled farmer

Chuck go away already its total Bullshit that you spread.

Nothing the experts predicted has come true ever.

Here is a crystal ball guess you're doing as good as these experts.

I predict a gradual cooling of temps till the end of January with some days being bone-chilling cold. Then a warm-up in mid-February followed by a cooling in early march then snow on and off till early April and then. Sloppy rain and snow mix till May.

Oh, April showers bring May flowers.

SF you just have another ****tail and chill!

You live in Regina. Why don't you get your placard and set up a protest at the U of R telling all the climate scientists they are wrong and you and your friends know it all!

              You headed to Florida?

First off the doom and gloom I refered to was the last 50 years of prognosticating by environmentalists. Actually my post wasn't doom and gloom, it was based on fact. And of course you chose not to debate any of the facts I presented in my 2 posts. Not surprised.

Chuck2 I have not read the report. If Justin Trudeau is re-elected and he raises the carbon to $170 by 2030 does it really matter? Will farming still be viable in western Canada without government subsidies?

Hamloc can you survive a 30% increase in your inputs without a commensurate increase in your crop prices?

There wont be an ag industry in this country at the end of this. The most expensive production zone in the world adding a 30% tax to itself.
