U of S Prof was all over the news saying farmers are receiving double and for there products in price and the news outlets ate it up. So now the city people honestly believe we're the cause of high food.
yet stupid farmers make fun and think I get mad at everything.
How about standing up for our selves and calling ****ing idiots ****ing idiots.
Are you getting $12 to $14 for your HRS?
Didn't think so but it's ok to say farmers are just happy when they are mad.
****ING MORONS.

I am not on tweeter or facebook...could someone get in on the conversation on one of those social media platforms and highlight that the last increase in bread prices relating to wheat came from
Gaelen Weston price fixing bread for a decade
Please quit blaming farmers as wheat prices retreated after and haven't recovered to those lofty levels since...
So phucking sick of zero response from farm groups...
They should have a standard rebuttal for this garbage in the media...
Food costs in canada are going up because the grocers are in it for themselves....and are a colluding bunch ....
It use to be illegal to collude and price fix....

Sask Wheat actually said they are looking to Cereals Canada for a response....thats phucking laughable ...look who is on the board of Cereals Canada...
We are not even represented by our local saskatchewan checkoff group...
Anyone with half a brain could write a rebuttal to the nonsense in the media....
It has to come from those that are paid through checkoffs to do their job and dispute what was written...
I also expect conservative MPs to step up...

Sask pulse had a guy phoning around doing a survey about their performance.
Wow, the questions were all slated to make them look good.
Yes, they are doing lots for industry and processors but when I said what about root disease etc. no questions on that. I guess a seed tax will save us all from that with our own money. I asked but what are they doing for the actual producer. Sales are nice and new processors are great but when they pay the exact same or less for the product are farmers real farmers gaining. Hey, lets have a meeting to discuss and charge a perdiem.
The most useless organization that does nothing and takes money that they don't have to give back when farmers want to vote with their wallet.
Sickening.

Phoned a wannabe sask pulse board member during the election....didnt even have a clue about mandatory sales reporting.....
In the next few days might phone a board member and ask why they are wasting money and why they don't make it easier for farmers to put forward ideas...
3 people to sign nomination papers.....10 farmers to put forward a resolution that they don't act on...

Just wanna say Saskfarmer, farmers are gaining from many nearby processors. The competition and transparency, not to mention the short haul is giving farmers what they aren’t getting in the cereals industry. You want competition-you got it in the special crops industry. Just see what you have when all the little guys are bought out. Just Saying.

When I buy chemical...the input dealers have requested the money from my FCC before I pierce a jug...and I spray across the road from where I get the chemical...farmers are expected to wait up to 15 business days or longer for payment...
There is where farm groups should be putting some of their efforts.
