My own recent experience is that I woke up last weekend with a lump near my groin. Went to Dr a couple of days later and was rushed into surgery. Only holdup was a wait for a rapid Covid test result. Surgeon said my situation close to necrotic tissue and peritonitis.

I walked around for a couple of days with people saying, "Is that a hernia in your pants or are you just happy to see me?" I should have went right in. That's the point I'm driving home. Covid or no get right on it.

Best of luck. I'll be thinking of you.

Wanna hear something gory? I saw this with my own eyes, a young guy has about a pea-size lump on his lower shin, takes out the sterile scalpel, digs down into his leg about 3/4 inch, digs out the lump, plops it in the garbage, stitches up the hole. Also, he is well-known not to take freezing for dental work.

Hope everything works out for the best! You never want to show weakness by going to the doctor. Maybe that’s how us stubborn farmers are but occasionally you need to get checked out! Have a safe holiday season!

Sounds like you caught whatever it is early mallee, best of luck.

My BIL had bladder cancer diagnosed just before covid. Well the hospitals were empty waiting for the first wave. You never saw faster treatment in our health system. Diagnosed and surgery within about 3 weeks. It would usually be 3 months I bet.

Stay away from the modern witch doctors and snake oil antibiotics, drugs and vaccines....

Best of luck mallee. But be warned that being flat as a fart by 3 is going to happen more often as years go by.
