Sounds like you caught whatever it is early mallee, best of luck.

My BIL had bladder cancer diagnosed just before covid. Well the hospitals were empty waiting for the first wave. You never saw faster treatment in our health system. Diagnosed and surgery within about 3 weeks. It would usually be 3 months I bet.

Best of luck mallee. But be warned that being flat as a fart by 3 is going to happen more often as years go by.

Guessing ulcers or something no gut pain, but am flat as a fart by mid afternoon.

Blood tests and dreaded colonoscopy my guess or endoscopy.

Right now as i type odd taste in my mouth.

Covid......nah but bet i get tested obviously.

Been going on for about a month but otherer day a fair bit though stone the crows better go to doc next week.

Have private health cover so whatever needed will happen
Best wishes to you Mallee it's probably a good thing you got " caught " sooner than later

Oliver88 suggested getting a second opinion. If they check your prostrate during the medical exam ask the Dr to use two fingers so you can have the second opinion.

I fought influenza at home until such point as I hadn't slept in 48hrs and blood started coming out of places it shouldn't have...

I hate going to see the doc as much as the next guy, but the medical system is quite impressive once you're in there.

                      Interesting.

Doc said you a smoker I said nope last sneaky cigarette was when I was about 14, he said nothing to worry about your not coughing.

But they did do blood tests 7 vials @ctually diabetes ,thyroid function, trace elements iron etc, white cell count red cell count, can remember the other two.

If anything untoward comes out of blood it’s carry on until that moment.

And err the dreaded colonoscopy after harvest.

All good thanks for your concern.

No invasive finger testing errr yet anyway

Great news Mallee. Good on you for getting it checked out.

My dad’s cousin who works for us actually lost his wife to cancer last week. Just this spring she wasn’t feeling quite right and things progressed from there.

You never know when your time card is going to get clocked out. Enjoy today everyone.

                        RIP Trudy

Mallee, good that your wifey caught you out and is sending you to the doc. Ulcers is what came to my mind too, but sometimes these relatively innocuous health issues can be a sign of something greater. Don't mean to scare you, but maybe that's what it takes for some guys. Mother had shingles last spring. A few months later, diagnosed with cancer, metastasized into multiple areas now. Turns out shingles, while being an awful illness in itself, is more likely to develop if a person has cancer. Best to get checked out early once weird things start happening, rather than wait in denial and hope for the best.

Sorry to hear about Trudy, Woodland. This time goes too quickly.
