Try five in the real world. Not calendar dates.

Curious to see a graveyard, unkept.

This one is across the fence from us. The previous owners grandparents I believe are buried there. From 1946 and 1924 the graves say. There is several other depressions in the same row without markers so there could be more. We got one from 1919 on the next quarter over.
We put a fence around it to keep the critters from destroying it although there has been cattle around it for a long time. Don’t know the backstory on it though.

There are plenty others around that were wood markers but have long since disappeared and changed hands so they are unknown now.

My friend owns an abandoned Hutterite yard and the cemetery is registered to the title. He has to maintain the fence and allow access although nobody has ever visited as far as he knows. Our family is all in the cemetery 5 miles over instead of the one a mile down the road. Not sure why that is exactly? I own the quarter where the close one is so that’s where I’ll be planted when that day comes................ The view is nicer. That way I can see my cows and the mountains on a clear day😉

(Our family is all in the cemetery 5 miles over instead of the one a mile down the road. Not sure why that is.) I would say to do with church doings, the five graves i know being farmed over were not allowed elsewhere because not they were not baptised, stillborn were buried on the farm since they never drew a breath.

It's Snowing in Regina and North. Big flakes and coming down nicely. Tuesday and Wed are the big storms. Will we get to sled on Christmas day?
