They are closing non-essential public places such as gyms, libraries and swimming pools. Masks are now recommended for public transit. Not mandatory, just recommended. That's about it.
Hardly qualifies as a lock down, at least nowhere near what has been instituted elsewhere.

Sweden also has:
- asked citizens to limit social gatherings to eight people
-restaurant parties limited to four people
-high schools ordered to keep to distance education until Jan. 24.
-alcohol sale curfews
-don’t host dinners
some more interesting information from New York Post story on December 6th
"To date, the nation has recoded more than 278,000 infections, according to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University.
Sweden’s death tally has climbed above 7,000, while comparatively-sized neighbors Denmark, Finland and Norway have reported 885, 415 and 354 fatalities respectively, data shows.
The relaxed approach to the pandemic also failed to protect the economy, which saw unemployment is predicted to hit nearly 10 percent in the beginning of 2021, the Wall Street Journal reported."Last edited by dmlfarmer; Dec 18, 2020, 14:18.

Sasks recoveries are now double the pace of new infections. I would say we are the model for how to get it done without killing your economy dead. Oh and tons of natural space between people and no congested cities.
If there is going to be any lock down, xmas is the time to do it. Most of the country is idle anyway. Sounds like the provinces are leaning that way.
