    35% priced early. $11.00
    %20% priced a month ago $13.35
Remaining basis locked +$13 March trying to capture inverse to May.
Remaining tonnes hedged in options spreads etc.
Will price more soon on a down day lifting certain positions.
Price all out before winter remaining long the paper.
Definitely a year to just bin it and forget it lol.
Don't worry about others' positions really. My strategy a long haul.
$700 very possible nearby. Good time to sell next years'!!
Anyone who has rang the bell selling whole crop at highest price for year has far more years netting in the bottom third.

You would think. In this high intensity canola area there has been a shwack of hrs cleaned at the seed plant. Enough barley as well. Last couple years canola yields have been average but down from previous years. Can’t logically be higher than 50% canola. Some did but clubroot slapped their pee pee. That said I’m stocked up for next year.

If no crash, might have started today as key reversal, down $20 from high.
If prices stay till May....Canola snow canola will happen. Cleaned seed will keep till 2022.
Neighbor ZERO price, wants $15. Betting half priced, trucks were busy harvest time hauling it. Another sold 75% at 10.50, a year ago? Nobody schoopit, don't beat yourself up. We are just pawns, enjoying the trickle down.

Given that M1 money supply is up 40% in the last 12 months all things equal Canola at $14 is equivalent to approx $10bu in 2019. Don't get too excited guys inputs may rise dramatically.

Remember these things when we used to load producer and dealer cars mid 90's got just over $10/bus, had 24 hrs to load

This is all I have left this year

About 40% canola sold and delivered for us.

CGC producer deliveries to Dec 13,2020
...................... Last year............... This year............... Increase
                          Barley............. 1681.5. ............... 2151.1. ............ 28%

                          Durum............ 1959.2.................. 2455.9............. 25%

                          Lentils............. 659.4................... 1151.1. .......... 75%

                          Canola............. 7561.4.................. 8868.8............. 17%

                          All grains.......... 23812.5.................. 27698.4. .............. 16%

So by the numbers lentils are the big mover and crickets in media, this might be this years sleeper, or Canada just sells out early? It will be a smaller crop as well in terms of volumes.

Canola lots moving, almost half of the crop delivered to terminals, crushers etc and 9 months till harvest 2021.

I should have included estimated crop production for all crops for context ( only canola comes to my mind right now).

                          Hope it rains in May.

                          Merry Christmas every one!

48% sold. A lot of trains left the NE in September and October filled with $10-$10.50 canola. Mine wasn't on them. I have some green stuff I want gone and will leave in January.
In got greedy in 2008 and watched it climb higher and higher every day then free fall. Tough to catch a falling knife. So I've been selling in increments this year.
And I'm usually 25% sold this time of year. I'm sure most in this area are equall or further ahead in sales this year.

More free information that experts, traders and government will use against you...

My yields are always 10bpa and I am 100 percent sold....and I don't like to finance sales for any amount of time....

Until I start getting free data /info from the rest of the industry...I should remain silent..

...let the grain cos do the dick measuring on sales publicly....because they will tell you every sale to them is a good sale even as they hold the info that says you should be getting more....

Had a cold call today from a marketing firm....got snotty when I asked how for payment and I told him I wasn't a bank...cold calls are an indicator of shorts....
