Only a couple of inches left after it melted down several times. I’m thankful for that since there is still a couple thousand bales to pick yet. Forecast looks mild for the next while. Makes life sooo much easier than fighting drifts in the hills. Dugouts are mostly full anyway.

          Cheers🍻

I had a enjoyable day with my boys and wife. Watched two movies and played a few games. Drove to visit my mom and dad and talk to them up on there balcony and say merry Christmas. It’s a interesting time.

Skidooing day at the farm with wiener roast and farm meeting around the firepit. Dogs, chckens, guinea hen , horse and pony were happy to see us. What a day, weather what one would order.

We custom made it from scrap in the shop and it been in the shack for 6 years now. Most stuff we used on the shack were recycled scrap the farm had.

Happy Boxing Day! Seems appropriate to highlight today since it’s such a year of ‘What next? ‘ lol. But of course I have to add a special Merry Christmas to all of you, incl all who will celebrate Christmas in the New Year. Beautiful weather yesterday! Lovely Christmas dinner last night including a farm-grown turkey. They’re the best, aren’t they. I’ve been celebrating Christmas for a week. And still more days to enjoy the season Even my roaster of cabbage rolls are soon all gone, sumdumguy!

I’m thankful to live on a farm these dark days of arrests and intimidation and government-rule on steroids. The calm and peace of quiet, and nature, and good neighbors, help maintain that sense of normalacy which all of us depend upon.

Boxing Day was celebrated as the day when the people of the British Commonwealth shared the tradition of giving boxed gifts to their workers. I continue to box up treats for family, friends and neighbours to this day. Good will.Traditions are important to carry on, to celebrate, to remind us of what we valued, of why the tradition originated. Of who we are.

Happy Boxing Day, with Hugs from Pars
