Merry Christmas to all and very Happy New year.

Well, it been one heck of a year and as we get ready to have family and friends come over and celebrate Christmas I can't imagine all the joy that the year has sent upon all of us this year.

WAIT A SECOND WE GOT COVID 19 AND ALL HELL BROKE OUT IN MARCH.

It has been one for the record books in terms of both Debt for the country of Canada but also who would have thought we would be wearing masks and social distancing and having no one around except your household this Christmas a year ago.

We did get the star of Bethlehem couldn't see it because of the snowstorm but the pictures were nice. Was Jesus coming back, sure would be appropriate for 2020.

Who would have known churches would be shut down, but Casinos could stay open.

Liquor stores are an essential service.

Pot was made legal and they can't figure out why most are growing their own or buying from their local drug dealer.

All farm shows and sporting events were cancelled some tried but most just didn't play.

People got paid to work from home or just got paid to sit at home.

Your gov gave you a line of credit up to 60 large for your business and 20 large you could keep.

Golfing meant one cart each and no after-game beer and food.

Cerb helped with Campers, sleds, Trucks, Fishing shacks, camping, and pet sales.

Finally the year the sky kind of didn't let the rainfall for a good portion of the prairies.

Grain moved for once as oil tanked.

Social distancing and washing hands became common practice. Handshakes were banned and also public hugging.

Best was DR Tamm wear a mask when having sex.

We have a cure in a vaccine but we didn't figure out how to order stuff so were last in line.

The USA Canada border was shut to all cross border travel. Planes are ok.

I got sick and realized good health is the most important thing a person can have next to family and friends.

So from me and my family to all on Agriville a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2021 New Year.

I had to search far and wide but found us a new miniature schnauzer that we can get in late January. Not grey like our one that passed but Black. Here is to training a new dog. Oh well were stuck in Canada so why not.

Merry Christmas SF3. Good luck with training the Schnauzer.

Heelers are smart dogs but some people say they aren't trainable.... thing is you have to be smarter than the dog in order to train it!!!

My wife and youngest son will be on it. She is like a dog whisper.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Good luck with the schnauzer, they're smart dogs, I like the way they tilt their heads when you talk to them. At least they're trying. Merry Christmas everybody.

We are the only animals in this house but our macho animals live at the farm. I was telling the kids that we had many neighbours who moved into town for the winter. They just locked their dogs in an old bin with a trough full of wheat. Chickens same treatment. They came back in the spring and opened the doors. Yes, you are wondering if there was a joyous greeting from the animals in the spring. I can’t say I witnessed the spring rejoicing but I think the animals were running around the yard. 👎

Sorry for the story and Merry Christmas to all. Remember if you end up in the clink or Covid Jail you can call Saul 😂

I find it frustrating with dog owners that they dont want grains in their dog foods, they think they want meat diets. Our dog cleans up any wheat spill around the yard and I kick her daily out of the trough as I feed grain to the other animals. And she is well fed, a but on the plumpy side.

Interesting comment...my brother had a dog that would clean up fresh durum like crazy....but it would also lick up fresh cowshit in the calf pen in the fall....very strange..and still eat the regular dogfood...

                        Wasn't fat either ...

MERRY CHRISTMAS one and all. I agree with SF, nothing like good health, family and friends. The rest doesn't matter. Be safe and be thankful for your many blessings. All the best in 2021!!!!!

Fresh fish, yum. I'll pass on the pups, we usually get schtoopit Blue Heelers.
