Covid is already said to be endemic -like the flu it will be here forever. Lockdown does nothing to help other than slow the disease to protect the health care system. Lock yourself in a box for three months and when you open the door you are just as likely to get covid as the day you locked the door - possibly more likely. You can run but can’t hide forever.

The economic, social and psychological costs of a lockdown are enormous. Society will be decimated not by covid but from the aftermath of bad decisions.

Watch for the hyperinflation and massive taxation to try pay for this fiasco. Anyone with wealth will be stripped of it and it will be redistributed through universal basic income (essentially EI for the masses) to the poor and lower middle class.

We say “Happy new year” but should say “buckle up in the new year things are about to get interesting”. Good luck all.

Another seven cases in Nsw today takes it to 122 I think over last 20 days. Basically the whole state as of tonight shut out of retirement if oz. 300 covid testing stations across the state/province.

Appears if the premier shut down from day one they may not be in current debacle.

Masks mandatory in some places indoors with family members, yep I kid you not.

Started with 19 cases in three days, let’s just watch and act , they was a bit of a outcry from rest of oz.
