    Dad just called it the January thaw. Happened most years and often the creek by the yard would run.

      Funny how all of their all time lows occurred since 1980. And none back in the Good old days before global warming. Probably coincidence.

        My dad used to say you usually get one thaw every month.

        Never watched close enough to see if he was right. He was always optimistic.

            Swirling big time.

            Ah we had warm January’s we had a very large dump in Saskatoon early Jan, we had-49 -54 for weeks.

            Nothing has changed except stupid people don’t read history they make it up now.

            Environment canada did prove me wrong.

              That's twice in two days I've pointed out to you the CBC does a decent job!!

              How do you get temp records in F in canuckistan? You have to go back to the early 70's to find anybody who used F up here. Wonder if they converted the records to F recently to support the global warming theory.
