Maybe if you succeed with this years lofty goal, your next year's resolution can be to get them discussing agricultural related topics( Forage excepted, he already joins the conversation regularly).

But it’s definitely much easier to laugh at somebody else’s falling apart.
No wonder all explorers who went hunting for the fountain of youth seemed to be in their 30s and 40s. They’d obviously realized the great lie as well.

Not quite into the heat pads and such yet but my wife is. Ironically Dr Ho just showed up on tv........
Nose and ear hair now get trimmed on regular basis too. I wonder what’s next.....

Ah, this is a great thread.
This is going to sound funny but for the last 20 years I turned into a nice guy couldn't care about most things and just go with the flow. If it's not broken don't fix it.
Early in my life if I saw an opportunity I jumped on it. I read more, studied more etc. Meet someone on a flight and they have an idea to explore it and maybe invest.
Well for 2021 I Want the original guy back. Why because sitting back in 2021 isn't going to make you come out ahead. Were in for some rocky interesting times. There are opportunities in the near future and we have to be the ones who take the bull by the horns and run with it.
Yes as you approach 60 things do change a lot. Our Body does change and slows down. Some things that years ago you could fight almost kill you now.
Family and friends have always been important to me and will continue and meeting new interesting people. Liberal followers need not apply. **** Trudeau I will not change that no ****ing way. He and this batch of idiots are that ****ing morons.
So yea Lets leap into 2021 and get going.

Our farm shop has always got works in progress. Semis, bob cats, cars, trucks, anything really that needs work. The heated shop floor and infra red tube heat was the best investment ever. What do you have in your shop? Our shopaholics have plasma table, mig and tig, powder furnace, 42 lathe, milling machine and that place is humming every day. 3-D printer miraculous. In the good ol days our farm shop used to have a pool table, a black jack table, a wood stove and a kubassa smoker, it was the district “meeting placeâ€. Lots of rum and all-night stook games used to keep us busy in the old days but not today’s shopaholics. ðŸ‘Last edited by sumdumguy; Jan 2, 2021, 08:36.

How's the 96 year old mother doing?

Forage, mother is hale and hardy, thanx for asking. The Covid ghost is just kinda passing on by, or so it seems just with zinc lozenges. I get several daily reports of how amazed the staff is. She has fought off breast cancer twice, then severe, severe stroke, heart problems, bouts of sepsis and after all that went to live 6 years independently. She has total, total recall and amazes me with information and questions that require deep thought and test my mental resources. She jokes about adversity and makes fun of obstacles. She has defied all odds. Her moto, “Where there’s a will, there’s a wayâ€. ðŸ£
