    I missed seeing this. Its quite telling how things go. When Input got going it was obvious to most that it was a wreck waiting to happen. Those farmers in dire straights were looking for any lifeline and Input filled that need albeit as a loan shark. This story coming to light shows that there will be no winners in the end, just a lot of people with ruined reputations and businesses. If something looks too good to be true it probably is.

                Simple rule in farm financing;

                If FCC and Canadas banking monopoly wont lend to you, you need to stop.

                And if you dont carry crop or hail insurance or decided to triple the size of your farm in one year with obscene rents, I have no sympathy.

                    I am undecided if I should laugh hard or laugh loud.

                    As others have already posted, its a scammer scamming the scammers

                      Come on Jazz, where's your sympathy towards those with the capitalist enthusiasm.

                      I guess the next step for those would be to go see Vlady!

                        Take a step back even further to the Blakeney years and a fellow by the name of Drummond. Long long history of corruption and profiteering at taxpayer expense that went largely unreported

                          Currently FCC's position is to shut down any operation under 5000 acres whether there is equity or not...never mind the fact there have been a couple tough years....

                          They are actually working as real estate agents for the BTOs out of some of their offices with their 5 billion dollars given to them from the federal government.
