I never touched any of those programs and it would be the last thing I would contemplate. if $10-20k is all thats standing between you and bankruptcy anyway, its probably too late. This sounds like a plan to grab some govt cash, default, declare bankruptcy and exit their businesses at maybe at least keep creditors out of personal assets.
You can get an audit anyway randome spin the wheel. My app for GST rebate was 30% higher than normal due to high repairs and paying upfront for GST exempt product bang! triggered ! Audit during harvest so no stress there not doing anything shady anyway .

Perhaps they're just paying it forward hoping that the sovereign debt market has as much acceptance and understanding with them, as they did with the recipients of all this largesse as of late.

Same thing is going to happen come income tax time.

          “But I spent it “

          “That’s Okay “

Here's the magical word the libtards are going to use to ensure a majority government later this year: "Austerity".

They will threaten the public that a conservative government will no doubt introduce measures to cut government spending.

Easy win for the Turd. Spend spend spend.

Most farmers in our area have applied for CEBA and have been approved.

And those farmers have yet to realize all they passed is the initial test, no different then the teens that answered 3 questions and received $2000/month.

Just as the website states, it still comes to down the basic rule that you must have experienced substantial hardship due to covid.

Maybe I will be wrong at the end, but I don't need it and I'm not contributing to the problem.

4.5% on $60k for a year or two.
Easy money. We followed the rules. The CRA can't keep up as it is. Since the 80s, if it's from the govt, sign up!
They are going to see very little back. Audit? Meh..... I've met divorce lawyers that wouldn't bother to pick those wimps out of their teeth.

Im sorry but 15 and 17 yrs old kids dont just jump on the phone to apply for some govt program without coaching from their parents. This is 2 generations of scammers.
