    Leon Mfg. Yorkton

Anybody dealt with Leon's Mfg. in Yorkton lately? I'm interested in an item but it seems they've went to direct sales, no dealer. Like to hear some feedback. Thanks.

Still waiting on a gearbox for one of the spreaders. I ordered it in Oct and they said it would be here in late Nov . Local RME parts guy keeps phoning and gets the runaround , answermachine, busy signal , not in ,product backordered yada yada yada. IF thats how they act with dealer support they will have a tough time on there own.

          Caution!!
Read the "Leon's Manufacturing owe's me money" thread on the combine forum.
Several farmers have purchased and paid in full for equipment Leon's said would be delivered in a couple of weeks or months. But never get equipment or money back. I think the original poster did after 2 years of headaches.

Worst place I’ve ever dealt with. Numerous naybors have had issues getting product. Nobody returns phone calls around there. DO NOT give them any money down.

Like post above, do not give them any money unless you have possession of whatever your buying.

They’re on an unofficial list of made Saskatchewan companies you don’t deal with. Have some decent products though. Really a shame when localish businesses operate this way, then we bemoan there being no domestic manufacturing.
