South Africa has put its roll-out of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine on hold after a study showed "disappointing" results against its new Covid variant.
Scientists say the strain accounts for 90% of new Covid cases in South Africa.
The study, involving around 2,000 people, found the vaccine offered "minimal protection" against mild and moderate cases of Covid-19.
South Africa has received 1m doses of the AstraZeneca jab and was due to start vaccinating people next week.

Tonight on CTV Sci-fi at 10pm E the third new episode of Resident Alien shows.

I understand the first 3 episodes can be viewed off the internet for those without Satellite.

I have RFD TV on Shaw [cable/satellite]which has extensive very well done Commodity Reports 7am -12pm weekdays with very good weather, grains, livestock, and many other specials like Ag Phd with production / nutrient tips for grain farmers... Rural medicine Covid-19 many other very well done Ag programs. Well worth the time with both Canadian and US Ag info.

About the 118,000 t of corn being cancelled this morning... unknown destination

Caught folks off guard... some market commentators really wondering if there is enough shipping capacity to actually export all the committed sold corn before the end of this marketing year...

Ethanol producers losing about 4 cents per gallon on production right now... has not been positive margin since Dec 2020 they said...

Volatility is certainly the market trend... did a Soy chart back 15 years... no where near the highs in 2008 and 2012... yet.. took a picture.

Too bad there is not an easy way to down load pictures... forget how...
