Ya my phone did ring so I'm betting overage will be a lot higher than my $8.50 in June.

On the march upward again, this morning. Seeing just pennies under $9.00/bus #1 13.5(not bad for a high freight area)

Seems to have surpassed durum wheat price now.

Not that it changes the outcome but we've done the following to help assess the degree of damage.
Cut off some plants just above the last node and stick those stems with head intact into a glass of water with food colouring, usually red works well. After 24 hours you can see where the solution has or hasn't been drawn up into the living or dead/frozen parts of the head

First, we have to get it out of the ground.

Do you have a tip for that?!!!!!
