Thanks for the public service announcement. Good to see you posting something agriculture related for a change. The all Covid/Trump/Global Warming all the time was getting old.
Although this might have been more suited to the Livestock forum.
So, what do you propose a livestock producer should do with this info?
It is well documented that many developing nations are successfully using Ivermectin for Covid treatment, which seems to be creating supply issues for the past year. There are also many reports ( including on our farm), of Ivermectin being very ineffective ( or resistant parasites), in the past year. I speculate(completely unproven) that this may be from a diluted pruduct coming from China( where most is produced), as it is being diverted to human uses.
Which has driven demand for alternative products, which are also in very short supply.
On top of that if if citizens who aren't being given access to the proper human form, are self medicating and causing problems, it will ( and apparently already is) causing even more restrictions on its sale.
So should we be stocking up when it is available? Increasing dosage? Protecting our stash from thefts?
Regardless, thank you for Making Agriville Great Again and posting a farming topic.
