Same thing happened in 1918-19 Spanish flu, less transmission as a result of less social contact, better personal care through handwashing, masks etc. STD rates are also way down statistically though what I've read the researchers feel it could be that less people are going to be tested and that could be part of the reason the rate has been so drastically lowerLast edited by mcfarms; Mar 9, 2021, 05:46.

Colds are caused by coronaviruses. Flu is caused by influenza viruses. (Or in most people who can’t tell what’s what, Norovoris)
Makes more sense that tests geared to pick up colds could pick up Covid.
Either way people haven’t been anywhere or seen anyone and tend to be wearing masks and washing hands when they do. Why wouldn’t other illnesses go down? The decline of the cold and flu, unless attributed to severe conspiracy, is a sign that the measures we’ve been doing do have some affect against the spread of viruses.
STDs I’m unsure on.... You could still get those even when using a glory hole.
