Follow Welker farms on youtube. They are introducing a hot new crop to their farm at Shelby Montana this year: Feed barley. Wheat prices seems to be permanently in the toilet so move over wheat, here comes barley. What are the odds that barley is sold in Southern Alberta? Guess now is time to price new crop barley.

Yeah time to step off the barley train. I’m planting more wheat and lowering barley acres. It’ll be $2 by fall if China drops out. I regret I contracted barley cause I’d grow next to none except for my own needs. What is the cheapest crop to plant? Go for that. It’s like going to the track and betting on the horse that craps on the track first.
