With all the HATE/Suspicions about CHINA, CPC, why should we TRUST the Chinese genome sequence of this virus released last January, that all mRNA vaxes are based on? How the h*ll the rest of the planet's "experts" were not able to sequence it? Research that and get back to me.

I am not sure why any would think this 48% number is unusual or a smoking gun proving anything.
First, the survey that come up with the 48% covered all workers in health care and not just doctors and nurses. You have housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance workers, administration staff etc working in hospitals. You also have private health care aids working in homes. So the survey results does not cover just medically trained doctors and RNs
Second if you break down that 48% number you find only 18% responded they will definately not get it due to concerns about the vaccines itself. Another 12% don't know if they will get it or not. No reason is given for the last 18% but it is possible they are not eligible at this time or simply have not got around to doing it.
Third, these numbers are pretty well in line with the number of health care workers in the US that do not get the flu shot each year. Over the past 10 years the number of health care workers in the US that have not been vaccinated for the flu has ranged from 20 - 35%. If someone does not see a need to get a flu shot, I expect many of these people will not bother getting a Covid shot; especially given that there are still those who think Covid is no worse than the flu
Finally, just because you are a doctor does not mean you believe in vaccinations. Hell, Andrew Wakefield drummed up the study linking autism to vaccines and became the father of today's antivax movement and was a certified medical doctor until his licence was revoked and his study retracted. Doctors and nurses are no more on the same page of best practices than all farmers agree on everything.
If doctors and nurses are the be all and end all in medical knowledge and practice why was $4.3 billion awarded in medical malpractice suits in 2019 in the US?

We owe your powers of rationalization yet another debt of gratitude.
You are truly one of the most wise men ever!! (Sorry if I've misgendered you)

I know I'll regret wasting my time on the tinfoil hat crowd but here goes anyway:
I got my jab this morning. It turned out to be Moderna but that doesn't really matter. I also got a polio vaccine roughly 100 years ago, as well as some tetanus shots over the years, an annual flu shot for as long as I can remember, I assume TB at some point and no doubt many others that mother felt were necessary at the time. I don't care whether the tinfoil hat crowd gets poked or not. I don't waste my time trying to convince them one way or the other when they intrude on me in the street.
I know for a fact that my federal government has dropped the ball completely. We've been solidly below 50th place relative to other countries in the world. I suppose the tinfoil hat crowd thinks that's good. In that case you should be thanking Skippy and Patty Hairdu because they are the only reason we are where we are. I also know for a fact that by fall enough Canadians with a brain will have taken the jab that we can start getting back to some semblance of normal life. I won't be surprised if the Americans refuse to accept our halfway program as evidence of vaccination for crossing the border but we'll have to deal with that when it happens. Even after we get our 2nd shot 3,4 or however many months hence we won't be "Vacccinated" according to any manufacturer protocol so I won't blame the US if they point that out to Skippy et al.
