Was reading this morning about some record cold temperatures in France around the 7-10th of April. Coldest for this time period since the 1930’s. Waiting to see how much damage to the winter wheat crop. Also projecting cold for southern U.S. early next week, concern for frost damage to winter wheat and germinating corn crops.

Corn can’t handle cold shock very well .
Strange how that cold snap in France never got mentioned , does not fit the narrative I guess

Would sure be nice if wheat would catch the same rally as the rest of them so we could empty the bins for next harvest!

There is so little "wheat cost" in a loaf of bread, the price could triple for farmers and it would hardly be noticed by the consumer.

USA farmers saying lots of wheat going to hog barns now because of corn. When will next wheat inventory numbers come out and will they be believed ?

Orchards, vineyards and sugar beets clobbered in France. Maybe barley, but soft wheat can't be damaged by nights of frost, apparently.
Southern China floods that may move north to harvesting corn and soybean crops. Will only know the extent of loss when pigs fly.
