What if you have no need for agronomists?
You know , believe it or not some can think and do for themselves. A lot of farms I know have been doing the 4 R’s for decades , most certainly don’t need advice from some political government hack to tell them what to do . In fact the reverse is most likely .

I make the decisions on my farm, I consult with individuals I believe have more knowledge than I have... I read to increase my crop knowledge base... and I am married to a very knowledgeable source of crop related information. There is no way I would ever blindly follow the recommendation of an agronomist who has no skin in the game.

Independent advice - think about it, they are going to error on the side of caution; easier to say spray then later say oops I should have had you spray. Or they don’t really care about individual situations and read you the general practice recommendations (government agronomist).

Been at this game long enough (20 years) and oh yeah there is someone more senior that has more experience still able to offer his thoughts.

Do I need a summer student or a fresh grad to offer me a recommendation?

So after all the bashing and the dust cleared no one repeated the original lie about the government forcing you to stop using nitrogen fertilizer? Whats wrong?

Couldn't find any evidence to backup your coffee shop rumors? LOL

SF you seem stuck in a rut with your debating skills!

You better get back to coffee shop or bar for some more evidence.

BS chuck you know dam well it's part of the liberal plan check in your notes from Comrad Trudeau.

Come on for once get with the program.

Bar, I haven't touched a drink since last fall when I got sick.

Part of the plan is a reduction in Nitrogen use. This whole thing isn't farmer-friendly from start to finish. They are trusting NFU for advice. Wow like lets get the bottom feeders to help draw up plans.

Using nitrogen fertilizers efficiently and reducing emissions from nitrogen is the goal. Not stopping farmers from using nitrogen.

So you can stop spreading rumors and lies.

In other words you can understand, Saskfarmer BS! LOL

“The federal government has stated it wants a 30% reduction in ghg by limiting nitrogen fertilizer use but has never consulted in industry or farmers to see if this is even achievable.” Cherilyn Jolly-Nagel SK delegate Canadian Whear Growers. Wasn’t hard to find Chuck2, as usual you are full of BS lol!

Prescription application with a gummit approved weenie signature required to purchase any and all inputs, not just nitrogen. Its not that far fetched given the way we seem to be heading. Big brother knows best.
