Regina ICU is always full, so is the emergency room. Both my parents have had hallway medicine and that was a decade ago.

Where is our health care funding, you know to beef up the system in case another pandemic comes our way? Trudeau gave more to Africa than canadian health care in the past yr.

The ER in our small-town hospital could be backed up for hours on a good day before the Wuhan Flu set upon us.

No longer - it sits almost empty.

As do many others - case in point: one small town hospital about 1/2 hour from here, was designated as a COVID response center at the beginning of this "pandemic". Set up for that big, projected, influx of stricten...

Since this same hospital also provided special ultrasound services to expectant mothers, our daughter-in-law went there for that purpose.

Upon her arrival, she was confused by the complete lack of people and activity when she entered the ER doors - the place was empty except for the receptionist at the counter.

She asked if she was at the right place - there's no one here?

The receptionist replied that it has been so quiet in here since this thing hit that it was spooky.

The stats show that it is predominantly an urban problem.

The radio has been blasting ads for a yr about support local business. What did they do when they opened? Raised prices 20%, put surcharges on everything. Took cerb and still raised prices. My sympathy for local business is waning.

Either many countries were sensationalizing data out of the hospitals early on, or just as I said the gmo designed virus degraded with each successive generation to revert back to its original non deadly form. CDC was claiming an overall death rate of 3%, funny they used the identical numbers from the SPARS simulation ran in 2017, boy were they ever wrong. Instead of letting it fade away here we are chasing it down with an experimental vacksheen forcing it to mutate in what could be a much more deadly variant.
