Nice one, but the joke ends right there - consider this - wouldn't you have believed even 10 years ago that there was too much at stake to kill the oil exploration, production and transportation industry in Canada?

    Look where it is now.

By the same metric, it is completely possible that in 10 years there will not be a beef industry left in Canada.

My Edmonton nephew has to travel to Kingdom of Saudia Arabia and the North Sea to keep his job as a drilling tool technician. His young family sits at home while he fulfills his 5 -6 week work stints overseas

I once asked his Liberal-voting mother (my sister) and siblings (all urbanites) if they understand that he is separated from his wife and wee daughter because of their voting habits.

And they think I'm the nasty one, as if its my fault...

Vote for an idiot, get idiot outcomes. Consequences are not limited to the misguided voters only .

If govts can convince people to lock away in their homes and wear a mask in their car, then getting them off meat is going to be a cake walk.

And govts now have a new tool at their disposal. Fellow citizen shamers. Reach for that steak in the meat isle and their might be a hostile karen there to confront you.

Burnt - exactly... no one wants to be accountable for their actions or choices.

I for the life of me can not see who could support this liberal government. The guy assaulted a women, the guy paid a terrorist, pissed off numerous trading partners, can not manage anything correctly, runs deficits that are out of control, lies, scandals to no end, kills economic driving industries and painted himself black on several occasions but calls us out for being racist... yep gets my vote no questions asked.

How I ask can people see this government as I be fit to govern?

Red meat consumption has been trending downward for decades while chicken consumption has been going up. Price, health considerations and an aging population that consume smaller portions are the biggest factors in red meats decline.

But don't that stop you from blaming Liberal elites and commies for the decline. Ironically in communist China meat consumption is going up.

My urbanite siblings either here or on the left coast, regarded Harper as if he was the devil incarnate.

Yet they could never point out exactly what it was that he was supposedly doing that was so harmful.

They would offer "cuts to healthcare", as though that was a federal purview. But yet they gave Paul Martin a pass for his budget-balancing actions which had the trickle-down effect of injuring provincial budgets.

And Ford is the boogeyman of the century to them. For the record, I am sharply disappointed by his draconian anti-liberty, knee-jerk reactions and hold him directly accountable for them. (He has not responded to my request for his "science-based information" that drives his lockdown decisions.)

So on the note of supporting healthcare - how many hospitals could have been built by the Wynne weirdos with the billions she spent on absolutely useless solar panels and wind turbines?

So for that reason, how many thousands of people have died that might have been saves from the WuFlu because of the provincial Liberal's wrongheaded, perverted ideology?

Wynne could be named as one more Liberal leader who is directly responsible for Covid deaths.

Everything is eating and being eaten. If you don't believe me, go lie naked in your flower bed for 3 days and see what gets eaten. All life springs from the sacrifice of something living.

BS Biden did not release or even say this! The 4 lbs of meat per person comes from an opinion piece written in the Daily Mail (a British tabloid). The study which the Daily Mail twisted to make the claim was done published in Jan 2020 a year before Biden became President. Even Fox News has retracted their reporting of this claim, but great to see the Agriville Conspiracy Theorists still pushing BS and propaganda! Puts a new twist on an old saying: Some Agrivillers try to fool people all of the time because those Agrivillers are fooled by any right wing or conspiracy theory all of the time!

One good thing about expanding in sheep production, the millions of lamb eaters “our” government are bring to this country don’t seem to care much what white Liberals think they should eat, not that Liberals would do something so racist as suggest non-whites should change THEIR diets too

Can’t forget about desert makers (Goats). If you could stand to raise them they’re easy to sell, and buyers handle all processing. Makes me like the new Canadians for their deeper appreciation for their food and where it comes from.

I would bet there will be no virtue signalling from the meat haters on that I agree .
