Fair point... but remember this is a tiny island nation, in which most of the population is concentrated in a small area. A few infected tourists with the shiny new variants can run the number up pretty quick. Granted, 40% unvaccinated is still to many to keep things like this from happening. The article I read also inferred the vaccine used here was an astra Zeneca spinoff that wasn’t as affective as others, which is more concerning to me than this surge in cases.
