Minus 5 would be a disaster. Even cereals won’t survive that for five hours. We only have one field of durum up. We were holding off because Saskfarmer told us not to plant Canola until after 16 th. He might deserve a veggie burger or sumting. 😂Last edited by sumdumguy; May 18, 2021, 22:50.

Wish I could send the rest of what’s coming your way since it’s running off anyway. Supposed to continue till morning although it’s switching to hard water. Not gonna be planting for a while now. Although the grass is loving it.
Definitely set for pasture now whereas ten days ago it was looking pretty grim. Hopefully it carries on to the east ðŸ€

Come and get it. Still getting some flurries here at the moment. With over 2 in of moisture we will have some too wet to seed acres along with flooded out spots in stuff already seeded. I am 2/3 done and the area is around 75%. I think we will be able to finish before the May 31 insurance deadline but just barely now. Canola likely does not make the guarantee this year again but should be better than the 4-10 bu/ac many fields had last year. Would have been happy with 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, then could look forward to a bin buster.
