A fair amount of canola either up here , or in dry dirt , not much in between
A lot just came up the past few days .
All one can do is wait and see at least 3-5 days . Problem is it three nights not one .
We found the best way is to pin flag 10 plants or 10 plants in a row is a few areas of each field and just monitor for several days . We pin flagged several fields today . Canola can be tough but a dry frost with no moisture is a different beast.
Time will tell , a rain will help hopefully Monday/ Tuesday
If you just had moisture it will help a lot as well .
Just hope for the best right now
Plus 2 and dropping here

There are a lot of things that come into play when deciding to reseed canola.
Obvious #1 is are your frosted plants dead. You can freeze the cotyledons off but if the part that comes up from the root looks alive and white not brown and rotten you will get a true leaf start growing. After a day or two you can split that white stem open and see the green coming.
But if you have shit for moisture what are your choices.
Not to late to reseed but if it's black tomorrow but not dead you will see green rows a lot quicker if you wait it out.
