There would be collateral damage if they had released their much more deadly version of the virus. A vacksheen is much more controllable. In animal testing of the Mnra injection initially there was a robust immune response but none of the animals survived past 2 years.

On one hand it I am sorry to see threads like this on a commodity marketing page but the reality of covid's effect on everything is inescapable. To add my opinion to everyone else's.
# I never feared covid personally but was very concerned that parents or family could get sick or die
# Most of the family have now got at least one shot of either Moderna, Phizer, or Astra Zenica. No side effects . Will get the second shot as soon as possible of what ever is offered to me by Sask health.
# For me the real number I follow is the hospitalizations and intensive care numbers. When I see the covid problems in the third world countries like India and Brazil, the value of first rate health care in Canada is pretty clear.
# The anti vaxers don't want a vaccine passport. I think its pretty much a guaranteed thing if one wants to fly or travel internationally.
# I know there is going to be anti vaxer bitter- enders but many people I know who previously were pretty anti vax quietly went and got their shot.

The data doesnt support an inter species jump. SARS and MERS and Bird Flu and Swine Flu did that and quickly snuffed themselves out. An interspecies jump isnt an easy thing for a virus to do. Its jumping into another genome that is different than the one it originated in.

I have said before corona is too finely tuned to humans to ignore the possibility that its lab engineered. Look at the side effects after someone gets it and the fact that so many people are asymptomatic but still able to spread it really raises questions.
