Will be lots of 1/2 tons and quads driving around fields after dinner today. Some guys might have to hang up the fishing rod for a few more days and do a bit of reseeding. Between sand storms and frost some guys getting a bit bitchy!!!! My beans go in the ground today.

            Hay fields are greening up.

            Pastures also are.

First seeded wheat a month in

I used to be cutting hay by the 15th of June back in the late 90s

Wont even bother before July 10th this year.

so now farmers have to become dealers and have a parts supply on hand. We now stock 4 of the above bearings.

Gouging is happening and it's all legal.

                    It's a joke.

Wait shortage of Round up coming again for fall.

Ah most didn't use as much as normal this spring I have enough bought for spring-summer and now next spring because I didn't use as much.

                    Some shortage.
We have everything seeded except a small field we calve our cows in.

Wheat is up, peas are up and canola is just poking through. Barley a day or two away. First canola was seeded May 12 so appears to have missed the frost, just watching for flea Beatles now on the canola.

Certainly looks like some herbicides will be in short supply, blame is being placed on shortage of plastic for containers, I call BS.

Dealer price gouge of the day for me. There are 3 viton o’rings on a aim command solenoid on my sprayer. From dealer over $10 for the 3 o’rings. From my local bearing supplier, same viton o’rings $1.55!!

Last push to finish canola here before yet more rain tomorrow. Have the mud holes to do after 2.5 inches of rain in the past 10 days. Did some oats on field that got less rain this past Monday yesterday. Seeded most of it. First canola seeded May 10 is up and looking good. Did not lose much from frost. Area is about 85% done but not much progress since the 17 th when 2 in rain showed up. Saw a quad track and large seedmaster planted in a mud hole last night. What is the yield potential of that? New guy picked up some land and is getting a lesson on farming the anus of creation.
