    $133 Trillion

Not to derail a commodity thread, but this is just as important because it will effect everyone in the long run because our govts are about to break us chasing unicorns.

This report projects the cost to convert our energy infrastructure to 90% renewables in order to reduce the planets temp by 1.5deg. Nuclear is again ignored and fossil fuel investment is starved in this scenario. Social and economic policy speed the change so we all know what that means.

None of these funds will be raised through taxation, it will have to be printed up. Reductions in oil investment and the price inflation from money printing will send prices for critical inputs through the roof.

This will result in the biggest economic failure in the history of mankind.

At a conservative estimate of a 50% loss on every one of these "investments" the governments that fund them will be bankrupt long before they would ever run up that bill. But the greenies like to dream, don't they?
