Flea beetles numbers are moving up in this area. Warm sunny weather is giving the beetles the advantage!

27 is impressive, what is your secret? Money, fame?
Gas and bullets though, must have been some close calls with husbands coming home if you needed both.
Secret is walk softly and carry a big stick, dont know cougars assume just need a bigger stick.

Looks like Eastern Sask and Man might get some rain next Tues to Thursday. Well, it will be thirsty Thursday so could be fitting to get rain because we're getting thirsty.

So it will be interesting to see what happens for the unlucky ones who don't get enough rain this year and end up with half a crop.

Some will draw down their cash reserves, some will borrow more, some will be covered by crop insurance, and some will get a payout from Agristability or some a combination of the above.

MNP for example will take a look at your Agristabilty reference margin and Crop Insurance coverage and give you an idea of what you coverage will look like.

So before you completely write off Agristability it might be worth taking a look. I am just not sure why farmers would turn down some level of subsidized insurance programs without knowing their numbers under the revised program?

The week out forecast from this site was dead on for our May rain.

              Same thing setting up again?

Ritz and his apprentices of Rood, Steinley, Dreeshen, etc etc etc.

Conservatives are not really interested in farmers ...no votes out here to make a difference.

We could use a good rain any time in MB too.
