Second dose today as soon as the door opens.
I’m going home to Florida at the end of July and Trudeau can **** off with his border BS and quarantine hotels.
I’m good in 14 days and Florida is open.
Polio was awful for anyone who caught it.
Covid is awful for any one who catches it just ask the Regina radio host.
Oh you can’t because he’s dead.
It’s up to the individual if they want it but I travel and I need to have it.

Getting vaxed is a personal choice but clearly the safety profile of at least the Pfizer has gone up quite a bit in the past few months. Pretty hard to deny that.
That being said I am waiting the full 4 months to consider a 2nd shot. Thats September for me. Wont be in Vegas until Nov anyway.
Both parents got 2nd shots a week ago. No side effects so far.

The side effects of any vaccine are relatively benign as your immune system kicks in.
Since many countries are way behind Canada in getting vaccines into arms you can expect covid to be circulating around the world for a long time.
The bad news is the stronger and more infectious variants will be the covid that affects those who are not vaccinated.
For those who choose to be not vaccinated you are leaving yourself open to the 4th wave this fall and winter. Good luck with that.
And just like SF has figured out, you will be restricted from open travel if you don't have your second vaccine dose.

According to PHE, the effectiveness of both the Oxford/AstraZeneca and BioNTech/Pfizer vaccines in preventing symptomatic disease after a single dose drops to 33 per cent because of the Delta variant.
But, after two doses, this figure rises steeply to 60 per cent for Oxford/AstraZeneca and 88 per cent for BioNTech/Pfizer.

Chuck, Sk3 and Jazz are 100% right.
Getting my second shot as soon as it's my turn.
I predict the thread to become mighty quiet now.

Canadians will hardly be dually vaccinated, and they will need one of their perpetual booster shots by fall, to combat the endless variants.
Doctors are saying most of the people ending up in hospital are those who have not been vaccinated or were infected just before they got the first vaccine.
