Been busy piling moo poo, spraying, getting the girls out to grass, and chasing thieves.
My wife was surprised the windrow was so big but it’s only from two months of feeding. Can’t imagine where it would be if we kept the critters confined all winter.
This quarter is one we just cleared and broke. Very pleasantly surprised at how it’s doing. A lot of work to go from poplars to barley but now it can start paying its way.
A real nice spot of grass in a old yard site that the girls approve of.
Been a while since the neighbourhood had to round up a few a__holes.
They drove through a fence and wire gate of ours before smashing these and getting stuck out on the coal mine. The cops ended up getting a picker truck, one ton, trailer, quad (all stolen of course) and three of the thieves. The one guy got chewed up nicely by the dogs and had to go to the hospital. Another has been caught 6 times in the past 5 months out stealing while he’s supposed to be under house arrest. Maybe the judge should have to take these deadbeats home for a few months before releasing them over and over……
Definitely could use an inch or two of rain ASAP. Pasture is green but stalled out and June is when most of our grass grows here. Bring on da beer clouds …………. we’re thirsty hereðŸ»
