    Trudeau eyes summer election

Canada’s parliament broke for summer this week, with conditions ripe for Justin Trudeau to trigger an election in a bid to win back complete command of the legislature.

Polls suggest the incumbent Liberals have seen a boost in popularity due to their response to the coronavirus pandemic that could parlay into a majority government. Vaccination rates are climbing fast, allowing for looser public health restrictions, and the economy is rebounding. Speculation is that an election could be called as early as August, with a vote in September or October.

For Trudeau, a majority win would heal the reputational wound of his near-defeat in 2019 and allow him to become one of Canada’s longest-serving prime ministers, along with his late father, Pierre Trudeau.

Since losing his majority two years ago, Trudeau has needed the help of other parties to pass legislation, allowing the opposition vast leeway to set the agenda and harangue him over ethics.

So for those that feel he is not good for Canada, what do we need to do now and in the upcoming months.

I personally would love the see zero showing for the polls for any party and send them all to the minors

Trudeaus team of amateur hour high school idiot MPs don't get their vested pension until oct 19 so don't expect an election before that.

The polls actually say he will be right back in a minority but he will try to rig it all by keeping the country locked down.

Best thing Ford can do is get Ontario opened as fast as he can.

I don’t know what to think of our dear Conservative party. The leader is crowding the center he’d make a red Tory jealous while our local MPs let their bible thumping bias out and vote against banning conversion therapy. What ever happened to separation of church and state. Residential schools are a good example of when you let church and state to work together.

A lot of the under 40 voters probably have no clue about how greasy the liberals are. If you haven't watched question period on CPAC you would be under the impression they are doing a fine job running the country according the MSM, but with a majority the liberals would be rock stars.
Will voters tend to remember that warm fuzzy feeling that they felt from the direct deposit liberal money as they enter the voting booth . . . . . . probably yes.
          We need divine intervention.

The Libs got the vote last time because they wanted to let everyone smoke pot, the party is over and the covid allowance is running out. Pretty sure there are allot of voters angry as hell about how that bastard is running the country. Allot of those voters didn’t show up last election because they wouldn’t vote for a Insurance salesman, now they know he would of been a better choice over a drama queen. It will be a interesting election.
