This seems to be one of those highly divisive thread topics, judging by the responses... already broke their own policy...
Personally, I am sick of the Covid debate, both the chicken little's, and the conspiracy nuts, I ignore both of them most days.
And most of us are big boys and girls (one notable exception, but we were requested not to single anyone out, so I won't name any names), we can choose to ignore or engage, we can make our own judgment about what is fake news and what isn't.
What I don't want to see(and I'm sure they have much better things to do), is the admin's trying to decide for us what is and isn't fake news, in an ever evolving world, that isn't even possible. Our fellow posters are mostly quite reliable on calling out the nut jobs on both sides. Let them destroy their own credibility, censoring them just makes the rest suspicious about what is really being hidden.
As they say, Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt both extremes are busy removing all doubt...

I think that any of us who still want to discuss commodity marketing should take it to the Spiritual Vignettes forum, and leave the endless Covid and SJW debates here.

I get it that some issues have made some people become solidly entrenched on one side and the discussion becomes rather pointless. I think its a great thing that this platform has existed for the years it has and would hope that it continues. There have been a lot of good posters that left because "they couldn't take it" as what I call the hardliners would say. Lets face it the number of active posters have been reduced to a couple dozen (maybe) including a handful that do most of the posts. The attitude towards other opinions had created a toxic place that more and more avoid. I would be fine with a covid discussion page and make sure the grain marketing page is more pure marketing. I know there is a desire by some to have a completely unfettered site where everything goes and those people are saying now that they are leaving. Those same posters encouraged others to leave if they couldn't take it. We are all taking about rights and freedoms eh? If the owner wants to a certain level of decorum on Agriville, well its their right. If those that can't abide by those expectations want to go elsewhere, well that's their right. There are a heck of a lot of Facebook group pages with a groups of people that think the same.
